Jerrell Hall, 26

2/21/06, Hall was the victim of a homicide. He died as a result of being stabbed 14 times after shooting Joshua Rosalez, 28. Joshua Rosalez did not suffer life threatening injuries. He and his father, Narcisco Rosalez, 53 were both arrested for Murder, but no charges were filed after it was determined Hall initiated combat by firing a handgun.

Carl Lee Wells, 25

3/11/06, Wells was the victim of a shooting in the 900 block of Third Street. He was shot in the back. He died 3/12/06 as a result of his injury. No one has been charged for his murder.

Robbin Underwood, 48

3/15/06, Underwood was the victim of a fatal shooting when her vehicle came under fire while stopped in the 1300 block of Ellis Street. Underwood sustained multiple gunshot wounds. She died 3/16/06 as a result of her injuries. No one has been charged for her murder.

Cordaral Wright, 18

4/26/06, Wright was the victim of a fatal shooting after he fired shots at two vehicles in the 100 block of Arcadia. Upon return gunfire, Wright was shot in the head and killed. William Cassidy, Jr, 17, plead Guilty 7/20/06 to Second Degree Murder for the homicide and received an 8 year prison term.

Irma Carr, 44

4/30/06, Carr was found deceased in her apartment in the 5200 block of North Knoxville. She died from suffocation. No one has been charged for her murder.

Rafael Jones, 19

5/1/06, Jones was the victim of a fatal shooting after he was shot in the 1200 block of North Frink Street. Jones was found in the 1300 block of N. Machin Avenue. He later died as a result of his injuries. No one has been charged for his murder.

Cory McGrane, 24

5/17/06, McGrane was the victim of a fatal shooting after he was shot multiple times in the driveway of his home in the 5000 block of N. Renwood Avenue. McGrane later died as a result of his injuries. No one has been charged for his murder.

Gary Irby, 23

5/21/06, Irby was the victim of a fatal shooting after the vehicle he was a passenger in came under fire in the 2600 block of Meidroth Street. He died 5/22/06 as a result of his injuries. No one has been charged for his murder.

Travis Powell, 29

7/4/06, Powell was the victim of a fatal shooting after being shot multiple times in the 1500 block of W. Butler Street. He died 7/5/06 as a result of his injuries. No one has been charged for his murder.

C'Erica Davis, 6 months

7/3/06, Davis died as a result of being shaken to death. Her father, Eric Davis, 23, was arrested 7/8/06 and charged with her murder. Eric Davis is charged with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery to a Child. On 8/15/07 Eric Davis was found GUILTY of First Degree Murder and sentenced to 28 years in prison. Peoria County Case No. 06-CF-838.

Taurus Baugh, 7/29/84

7/15/06, Baugh was the victim of a fatal shooting after being shot once in the chest in the 2700 block of Trewyn Avenue. Breon Davis, 20, was convicted of First Degree Murder for the homicide and was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Co-Defendants Deandrew Jackson, 20 and John Bell, 20, were acquitted. Davis must serve 100% of the 50 year sentence.

Karen Edenburn, 55

7/18/06, Edenburn was the victim of a murder-suicide. She was found shot to death in her home in the 6300 block of N. Imperial Drive. Her husband, John Edenburn, 58, apparently shot her in the head two times, then turned the gun on himself, shooting himself once in the head.

Jacob Hart, 23

8/2/06, Hart was the victim of a fatal shooting after he was shot and killed in the 1800 block of Kneer Street. No one has been charged for his murder.

Jon Buckley, 20

9/20/06, Buckley was the victim of a fatal shooting after being gunned down outside his residence in the 1700 block of Linn Street. Cameron Puryear, 19, was arrested 9/23/06 and charged with 2 counts of First Degree Murder for Buckley's death. On 11/29/07 a jury convicted Cameron Puryear of First Degree Murder. On 2/4/08 Puryear was sentenced to 71 years in prison. Peoria County Case No. 06-CF-1265

Wesley Dorough, 39

10/5/06, Dorough was the victim of a fatal shooting after being shot multiple times. He was found in an alley in the 700 block of S. Western Avenue. He later died as a result of his injuries. 1/29/08 A Grand Jury issued a $1million arrest warrant for Lionel Degouse who has been charged with Dorough's Murder. Please call your local law enforcement agency if you know of Lionel Degouse's whereabouts.

Antoine Harris, 23

11/7/06, Harris was the victim of a fatal shooting after he was found shot in the head in the 2800 block of NE Madison Avenue. No one has been charged for his murder.

Semeeka Cotton, 31

a/k/a Semeeka Gore

11/8/06, Cotton was the victim of a fatal shooting after she was found shot to death in a garage in the 2100 block of W. Wiswall Street. 2/20/07 Clarice Hawkins, 42, was indicted by a Grand Jury on two counts of First Degree Murder and one count of Unlawful Sale of a Firearm to a Minor. On 10/18/07 Clarice Hawkins was found GUILTY of First Degree Murder. On 12/13/07, Clarice Hawkins was sentenced to 72 years in prison. Peoria County Case No. 07-CF-160.

Carla Spires, 45

12/5/06, Spires' lifeless body was found in the driveway of her home in the 1300 block of W. Martin Luther King Drive. Her throat had been cut. Victor Russell, 38, was arrested and charged for her murder. Russell is charged with 4 counts of First Degree Murder. On 10/25/07 Victor Russell was found GUILTY of First Degree Murder. On 1/11/08 Victor Russell was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Peoria County Case No. 06-CF-1579.
