The Felony Division is responsible for prosecuting felony offenses committed by
adults (17 years and older) in Peoria County. A felony offense is a crime
for which a defendant may be sentenced to a term of incarceration of longer than
one year.
Felony cases, which do not involve a Domestic Battery or a Violation of Order of
Protection are heard in Courtrooms 221, Judge Michael E. Brandt presiding and
222, Judge James E. Shadid presiding.
