CASE SYNOPSIS: Clyde Bradley, 53, has been held in the Peoria County Jail on $1,000,000 bond since July 28, 2006 after his arrest for beating his wife, Talefia Parker, 26. Bradley is alleged to have beat Parker with a stick, repeatedly stabbed her with an ink pen, poured scalding water down her pants and burned her with a heated glass over a period of several weeks the summer of 2006. Parker reported to police Bradley accused her of cheating. Bradley is charged with two counts of Heinous Battery and four counts of Aggravated Domestic Battery.
CASE UPDATE: Tuesday, August 22, 2006, Clyde Bradley was indicted by a Peoria County Grand Jury. Read the Grand Jury Indictment.
On 3/14/08, the Honorable James E. Shadid sentenced Clyde Bradley to a combined 59 years in prison (45 years for Heinous Battery and 14 years for Aggravated Domestic Battery).
